Saravathy Reddy

Sara has over 20 years of training, teaching and administration experience in the secondary, tertiary, and VET sector. She has teaching/training experience from the US, India, and Australia. As an educator, she believes it is important to be a life-long learner. She enjoys being in an environment where she can be stimulated culturally and intellectually. What better place to experience it than in a classroom filled with people from diverse backgrounds wanting to be challenged and thirsty for knowledge. She trains Community Services, Mental Health, and Training and Assessment.

She coordinated the READ Program for CALD women, helping them with literacy and numeracy and assisting them to integrate into the Australian way of life from 2016-2020. She has been on the Advisory Board of Moonlight Deaddiction Centre, India, since 2019. Recently, she started working with the Irula tribal people in India. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, sewing, cooking, and watching movies. Topics of interest include: Training, Curriculum Development, Mental Health, and Community Service.
